Nicolas Delalieux - KAOS/ Yellow Art

From 2024, Yellow Art and KAOS will jointly organise artist residencies at art house Yellow Art in Geel. For this first collaboration, two artists were chosen after an open call. Nicolas Delalieux will work at Yellow Art from September to December 2024.

I'm really scared when I kill in my dreams

Nicolas Delalieux loves thunderstorms and dreaming at the blue hour. During his residency at art house Yellow Art/KAOS, he searches for other people's dreams. He picks them up and turns them into songs. He performs the songs, at dawn, on and around a mobile container, a kind of stripped-down chapel/kamishibai/treebox, together with musicians, writers and fellow dreamers. The whole research will lead to a big show called The Big Blue Thunderstorm Show In Geel to which everyone is invited.
