Remember and honour Brenda Froyen
‘We learned this week the sad news of Brenda Froyen's passing. She was the relentless initiator and inspirer of numerous projects fighting for a more humane psychiatry. She wrote several books about it and was the founder of psychosenet Belgium. One of her many initiatives was ‘always spring after winter’ for which she collaborated with KAOS. Today, we realise that without her, we will have to go through a harsh winter before spring arrives again. But Brenda has shifted so many stones in the river that the water flows differently than before. And you can't stop the flow of a river.’
